We have a “can’t wait anti-wrinkle clinic” that’s open one evening a week for our established clients, so you don’t have to wait long to look your very best. Anti-wrinkle injections can also be used to treat hyperhidrosis (sweaty armpits).
  • Dermal Fillers / Volume [ bcmc-descriptions ]

Dermal fillers are made up of hyaluronic acid, which is naturally made from fibroblasts. Injected hyaluronic acid differs from in vivo hyaluronic acid because it is cross linked. Cross linking hyaluronic acid helps to increase the duration of action, while the method of cross linking is what affects the acid’s strength and volume capacity. That is why a different hyaluronic acid is suggested for beautifying lips as compared to augmenting cheeks. Generally the stronger a hyaluronic acid is the longer it lasts, with 12-18 months being the longest. The length of a hyaluronic acid is also related to a person's diet and lifestyle.

  • LED Light [ bcmc-descriptions ]

LED light stands for light emitting diode. The light does not produce photothermolysis, meaning it does not damage skin cells. Instead, the LED light is absorbed by components of the cell machinery, making your cells more efficient. An LED light also boosts healing and collagen formation, which is why BCMC incorporates it into many of our treatment bundles. In addition, blue light is toxic to propionibacterium acnes and is therefore utilised in many of our acne treatments, particularly for young teenagers.
  • Pelleve / Radio Frequency [ bcmc-descriptions ]

Pelleve is the trade name for a radiofrequency treatment which produces collagen neogenesis. The benefits of Pelleve are best seen after a course of treatments. We want to see results as much as you do and therefore offer a discount on a bundle of treatments. While there is no downtime, your skin will continue to improve in the weeks following your final treatment, so we like to take a before photo prior to the first treatment and an after photo a month after the last treatment. The radiofrequency is experienced as a heating of the skin. All skin types can benefit from Pelleve, which improves the overall texture and luminosity of the skin, as well as reduces fine lines.

  • PRP / Vampire Facelift [ bcmc-descriptions ]

PRP, otherwise known as platelet rich plasma, is a natural autologous way to grow your dermis. The procedure involves first taking a sample of your blood (only 8 mLs) , then spinning your blood to extract the platelets. The platelets are then derma-stamped in your skin and the growth factors from the extracted platelets stimulate your fibroblasts to make more collagen. This procedure is particularly popular because any area of skin can be treated. PRP is often used to refresh the areas around the eyes and neck. For best results, multiple treatments may be necessary.
